On January 14, 2008, Afghan Taekwon-Do Association.
ATA. with the collaboration
of the Union of Afghanistan Youth, organized a ceremony to distribute the ITF
certificates for ATA members.
Out of 16
ATA members who successfully passed the grading, which was conducted by Master Nicholls and Master Hogans, 5 were from
Hirat province, and 11 from Kabul Province.
ATA members received ITF certificates from 1st
up to the 5th Degree.
The Ceremony was participated by Mr. Sayed Mahmood
Zia Dashti, Afghan NOC Vice President, Mr. Gholam Jailani Ghroob, Head of
Publications Department of Afghan NOC, and President of
Afghan Karate Federation, Mr. Hed Mohammad Shirzai President of Afghanistan National Taekwon-Do Association.

Ajan Wafa, President of Kabul Youth Taekwon-Do Association, Mr. Mohammad Saleh
Jawaheri, Senior Vice President of ANTA, Mr. Jawan Mard Haidari, Marketing
Manager of Gas Group and many more.
It is worth mentioning that Mr. Asad Sikander,
Producer and Action Director of DIANA FILM was the special and Chief Guest of
the ceremony.
Afghan
NOC Officials appreciated the efforts of Afghan Taekwon-Do
Association and wished them more success in this regard.
At the
end of the ceremony ATA President Mr. Najmuddin Safi,
presented ATA's Shield of Honor to Mr. Sayed Mahmood Zia
Dashti, Vice President of Afghan National Olympic
Committee.
